Your old engine must have the same crankshaft size as the new replacement engine. PLEASE contact us with your engine MODEL and TYPE numbers if you are not sure about your engine's crankshaft size. You can always measure the crankshaft size. VERY IMPORTANT (PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING): This is a great replacement engine for many TECUMSEH engines that have horizontal crankshaft size. If your engine looks similar to this, has same Taper crankshaft, 1-3/8" stepped to 7/8" diameter Crankshaft then you can use this engine. Please make sure your engine has the same crankshaft size. Otherwise, it will not work. For sale is a 11 HP TECUMSEH engine for a generator, NOT a generator itself. PLEASE don't get confused. This horizontal crankshaft engine WILL NOT replace a vertical crankshaft engine. Oil Sentinel: Light Will flash and engine will shutdown when oil level is low.
