DEFINITIONS

"We" and "us" mean EnginesForLess, Inc. Merchandise means Product(s), engine(s), part(s), or anything we are selling in our store and company's website. Date of Merchandise Delivery or Pickup means the date when you, somebody or some company that represents you to receive the Merchandise from a shipping company (e.g, Fedex, UPS, USPS, etc) or from us.

RETURN/REFUND POLICY

ALL sales are FINAL. No return. No refund. No Exceptions.
LOOKING FOR PARTS
It is customer's job to assure that the engine ordered will work and fit for their specific application. Sometimes, modifications may be required if the purchased engine's model/type/code/spec numbers differs from the original engine's model/type/code/spec numbers. Please contact us if you have any questions prior to your purchase.

WARRANTY POLICY
Unless otherwise noticed, ALL Merchandise listed for sale on this website are New Surplus^*1. Manufacturers of these New Surplus^*1 Merchandise may not or will not honor the manufacturer warranty. We are not sure of how the manufacturer warranty works on surplus Merchandise. Please contact them directly if you have any questions.

However, to make sure you purchase a non-defective Merchandise and give you peace of mind, we are offering a 30 Day Back-up Warranty ("This Warranty") on all New Surplus^*1 Merchandise (except Hydro-Gear transaxles/transmissions or Peerless transaxles/transmissions) in case if the authorized dealer of a certain manufacturer denies manufacturer warranty due to:

Surplus Merchandise or
Seller (us) is not an authorized distributor or dealer of such Merchandise.

If a Merchandise (except Hydro-Gear transaxles/transmissions or Peerless transaxles/transmissions) fails working because of the manufacturer defect in the first 30 days from the Date of Merchandise Delivery or Pickup and the manufacturer of such Merchandise denied the manufacturer warranty after you attempted to claim the manufacturer warranty, we shall, at our option to either:

Pay for the repair or
Replace it or
Take it back and refund your money minus ALL the outgoing (when we shipped Merchandise to you) and incoming (when we pick Merchandise from you) shipping/handling costs and fees.

Rules for transaxles and transmissions
Hydro-Gear transaxle(s)/transmission(s) has (have) to be installed by an authorized Hydro-Gear dealer to be qualified for our 30 Day Back-up Warranty. Peerless transaxle(s)/transmission(s) has (have) to be installed by an authorized Peerless dealer to be qualified for our 30 Day Back-up Warranty.

Hydro-Gear or Peerless manufacturer may not honor the manufacturer warranty (if any available) if the transaxle(s)/transmission(s) was (were) not installed by their authorized dealer.

30 Day Back-up Warranty Terms and Conditions and the required steps that you have to take to claim This Warranty:

This Warranty covers only manufacturer defect.
This Warranty is for the original buyer only.
We will NOT honor This Warranty if the Merchandise fails because of your mishandling or abusing or no or lack of engine oil or bent crankshaft or any wrong type of oil or wrong type of gasoline related problems or anything that is not manufacturer defect.
You send us an email and call us (email and phone number posted on our website) right away to report the problem.
You must stop using the Merchandise
Reason and Estimate for the repair must be generated from an authorized dealer of certain Merchandise and sent to us. (Example: If you purchased a Kawasaki engine, you must bring it to an authorized Kawasaki Dealer).
Total cost of the estimate for the repair must be sent to us to be pre-approved before the repair taking place.
This Warranty pays only for pre-approved labor, part cost of the repair and nothing else.
This Warranty does not cover transportation costs.

WORKING WITH ENGINES OR POWER TOOLS SUCH AS SAWS, GRINDERS, DRILLS,CHAIN SAWS, AND THE LIKE, PRODUCE A POTENTIAL RISK TO THE USER(S) AND PEOPLE AROUND. CARE AND CAUTION AT ALL TIMES SHOULD BE EXERCISED BY THE USER(S) TO AVOID LOSS OF PROPERTY AND/OR POSSIBLE INJURY AND/OR DEATH.

Product Condition Definitions

BRAND NEW	Non-surplus Merchandise or Merchandise that is in factory box and with manufacturer warranty. This Merchandise also can be a number of years old.
*New Surplus^1**	Merchandise that is not factory reconditioned, not rebuilt and have never been used and installed on ANY equipment before. We usually buy these Merchandise in bulk. Sometimes they are dusty and don't come with factory boxes. These are usually surplus Merchandise with a fews or number of years old. For example: A mower manufacturer ABC bought 2000 of engines from an engine manufacturer and later found out that they needed only 1500 engines. They needed to sell the rest of 500 engines to our engine supplier for a good price to clear their inventory. We bought these engines from our supplier and called them surplus engines. The engine manufacturer may choose not to honor the warranty on this type of Merchandise or engines. It is difficult to get new engine that was made in the current year unless you want to spend more money to ask the factory to build you one. They may not even want to just build you one engine. If you don't receive a manual in the box, please contact us to see if we can get you a link to download a manual. Whether you buy engines from us or other places, 99.9% of new engines do not have the mounting holes tapped (threaded). You can tap the holes by using self-threading bolt or a threader. A threader can be purchased from most hardware stores. It is not that difficult. Just do it slowly.
TAKEN OFF	Products or Engines are not New. Taken off from other equipment for some reasons. May/May not have a number of running time hours. May have some scratches and dent, but will not effect the performance. Guarantee to start/work.
AS IS	Products or Engines that may not running or working. Mainly for parts only. No guarantee to work.
INCOMPLETE	Products or Engines that are missing some parts. Mainly for parts only. Not running. No guarantee to work.
