Your old engine must have the same crankshaft size as the new replacement engine. PLEASE contact us with your engine MODEL and TYPE numbers if you are not sure about your engine's crankshaft size. You can always measure the crankshaft size.
VERY IMPORTANT (PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING): This is a great replacement engine for many Kawasaki engines that have VERTICAL CRANKSHAFT SIZE. If your engine looks similar to this, has same 1-1/8” Dia. x 4-5/16”” Keyed Crankshaft. Please make sure your engine has the same crankshaft size. Otherwise, it will not work. WARNING: This engine has 1-1/8” Dia. x 4-5/16”” length keyed VERTICAL (up and down down |) crankshaft. Crankshaft length was measured from the tip of the shaft to the stop point (step up) - See picture below. PLEASE MAKE SURE you understand this because there is NO RETURN if you buy a wrong engine. We will contact you for your engine CODE number to double check, but it is your responsibility to know your engine crankshaft size.
