Your old engine must have the same crankshaft size as the new replacement engine. PLEASE contact us with your engine MODEL and TYPE numbers if you are not sure about your engine's crankshaft size. You can always measure the crankshaft size.
VERY IMPORTANT (PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING): This is a very standard and universal for many BRIGGS and STRATTON ENGINE with same HORIZONTAL crankshaft size. This is great replacement engine if your engine looks similar to this, has same 3/4” Dia. x 2-27/64” Keyed Crankshaft and you don't care about the HP or Gross Torque difference, you can use this engine. Please make sure your engine has the same crankshaft size. Otherwise, it will not work. Make sure your old engine has the same crankshaft size or you are willing to get new pulleys or anything that is mounted on the shaft. |
