If your engine looks similar to this, has same Taper crankshaft, 1" stepped to 7/8" diameter crankshaft then you can use this engine. Please make sure your engine has the same crankshaft size. Otherwise, it will not work. For sale is a TECUMSEH engine for a generator, NOT a generator itself. PLEASE don't get confused. This horizontal crankshaft engine WILL NOT replace a vertical crankshaft engine *** Don't assume that this engine will fit your generator if it is one of these brands: COLEMAN, POWERMATE or DEVILBISS. To be 100%, please read the crankshaft description and see the crankshaft diagram and picture to compare with your current engine's.
