Your old engine must have the same crankshaft size as the new replacement engine. PLEASE contact us with your engine MODEL and TYPE numbers if you are not sure about your engine's crankshaft size. You can always measure the crankshaft size.
DESCRIPTION This engine does not have a fuel pump. It will not work with mower that has fuel tank under the seat. This engine has a Dual Alternator (*only works for mower with manual blade engagement, engaging blades by pulling/pushing a lever or stick). It WILL NOT work for mower with a electric PTO. If your mower has a button to pull to engage the blades, it means the mower has PTO Electric Clutch to run the blades. Please do not buy this if you mower has a PTO SWITCH to turn ON/OFF the blades or has a fuel tank under the seat. VERY IMPORTANT (PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING): This is a very standard and universal for BRIGGS and STRATTON with same VERTICAL crankshaft size. This engine is compatible to replace a lot of different Briggs and Stratton Twin Cylinder Intek engines installed on John Deere, Craftsman, Husqvarna, Poulan mowers, etc...If your engine looks similar to this, has same 1” Dia. x 3.157” length Keyed Crankshaft and you don't care about the HP difference, you can use this engine. Wiring Colors: Red = DC voltage output, battery charge wire Orange = AC voltage output, typically for lights Gray = Fuel Solenoid, needs 12 volt with key switch on to allow fuel to flow Black = Magneto Kill, ground to stop spark (add no voltage to this wire!)
