Your engine alternator is: 1.5 AMP DC

Your snow blower may have a headlight and/or hand warmer (heated grips) . Your 1st OPTION is to buy a 1.5 AMP DC alternator engine to hook up and use your snow blower's headlight and/or hand warmer (heated hand grips).

If the 1st engine OPTION is not available here or you don't care or won't use your snow blower's headlight and/or heated hand grips you can buy one of the engine here in the 2nd OPTION list with a different alternator.

If you are handy and your engine model is the same as the new engine you may be able to transfer your old engine's alternator to the new engine so that you can use all your snow blower's electric features. 		BRIGGS AND STRATTON SNOW ENGINES.

2nd OPTION - 60 WATT AC alternator possible replacement engines.
IMPORTANT Notice: The engines listed below have 60 WATT AC alternators. Your current engine may have a different type of alternator, which means the headlight and/or hand warmer (heated grips) on your snow blower may not work with the new engine as-is.

You may have the following options:
  1. Install a new headlight that is compatible with the new engine's 60 WATT AC alternator.
  2. Swap the alternator from your old engine onto the new engine if both engines are the same model.
  3. Do nothing and simply choose not to use the headlight or hand warmers.
Please note: Changing the alternator may void the new engine's warranty if the work is not performed by an authorized dealer of the engine manufacturer.
