Our engines on this page have the following similarities. Choose the engine HP and the displacement (cc) accordingly to fit your needs:
    1. Bolt pattern - The mounting hole pattern are the same.
    2. The dimmension.
    3. Muffler configuration is the same (you can reuse your old muffler)
    4. Although spent a lot of time to carefully study about your engine, prepare, review, and compose this page to believe that your engine crankshaft size is 1-1/8" diameter x 4-5/16" length, it is still your responsibility to measure your engine crankshaft to double check if it is the same.

Other minor things that you may have to do when you buy the long block to replace your engine including but not limited to: transfer your wire harness from your old engine to the new one if it is not the same (most of these have similar wire harness though), tap/thread the mounting holes (as most of brand new engines did not have the mounting holes threaded/tapped by the manufacturer) etc..

If you believe more or less Horse Power (HP) CC or Gross Torque than your current engine will be fine with your mower, you can buy any of the engine in this box. Please choose HP, CC, and Gross Torque and engine choke style accordingly.
Dimension of Kawasaki FR651V to FR730V or FS651V to FS730V are very similar. Mounting patterns are the same. Some Kawasaki engines have electric starters with or without solenoids. You will have to transfer your old engine's electric starter to the new engine or buy a separate electric starter solenoid if the old engine's electric starters is not the same as the new engine's.
