If your engine SPEC number is either: ZT740-3041 , ZT7403041 or PA-ZT740-3041 or PA ZT740 3041 or PAZT7403041 or PS-ZT740-3041 or PS ZT740 3041 or PSZT7403041, our engines on this page have the following similarities and you can buy any of them to fit your needs:
    1. Bolt pattern - The mounting hole pattern are the same.
    2. The dimmension.
    3. Muffler configuration is the same (you can reuse your old muffler)
    4. Although spent a lot of time to carefully study about your engine, prepare, review, and compose this page to believe that your engine crankshaft size is 1-1/8" diameter x about 4-5/16" length , it is still your responsibility to measure your engine crankshaft to double check if it is the same.
Minor things that you may have to do when you buy any of these engine to replace your engine including but not limited to: transfer your wire harness from your old engine to the new one (most of these have similar wire harness though), tap/thread the mounting holes (as most of brand new engines did not have the mounting holes threaded/tapped by the manufacturer), etc... If you believe more or less Horse Power (HP) CC or Gross Torque than your current engine will be fine with your mower, you can buy any of the engine listed on this page. Please choose HP, CC, and Gross Torque accordingly.
