If your engine SPEC number is either: ZT720-3014 , ZT7203014 or PA-ZT720-3014 or PA ZT720 3014 or PAZT7203014 or PS-ZT720-3014 or PS ZT720 3014 or PSZT7203014, our engines on this page have the following similarities and you can buy any of them to fit your needs:
    1. Bolt pattern - The mounting hole pattern are the same.
    2. The dimmension.
    3. Muffler configuration is the same (you can reuse your old muffler)
    4. Although spent a lot of time to carefully study about your engine, prepare, review, and compose this page to believe that your engine crankshaft size is 1-1/8" diameter x about 4-5/16" length , it is still your responsibility to measure your engine crankshaft to double check if it is the same.
Minor things that you may have to do when you buy any of these engine to replace your engine including but not limited to: transfer your wire harness from your old engine to the new one (most of these have similar wire harness though), tap/thread the mounting holes (as most of brand new engines did not have the mounting holes threaded/tapped by the manufacturer), etc... If you believe more or less Horse Power (HP) CC or Gross Torque than your current engine will be fine with your mower, you can buy any of the engine listed on this page. Please choose HP, CC, and Gross Torque accordingly.

Sorry, we are not sure what your engine's choke style is. Please read the following and determine your engine's choke style to buy our engine accordingly. Buy a SMART (Automatic) CHOKE engine should be your 1st option if you want auto choke.
  1. If your mower has two (2) control cables, a choke control cable and a throttle control cable separately, buy engine with SEPARATE MANUAL CHOKE option.

  2. If your mower has only one (1) control cable for both throttle and choke control, buy an engine with CHOKE/THROTTLE COMBINED option.

  3. If you buy the engine with SMART (Automatic) CHOKE option you don't have to worry about connecting the choke cable. This is a nice option since the engine will be choked automatically and you can use it to replace either CHOKE/THROTTLE COMBINED or SEPARATE MANUAL CHOKE engine.

  4. Last option. If can't find your desired choke style engine here, you may want to buy whatever available engine on this page and figure out how to make your mower works with the engine's choke accordingly. Read the following examples.

    Example 1: If your mower does not have a choke cable and you buy our SEPARATE MANUAL CHOKE engine, you will have to buy a choke cable to install on your mower to use it with the new engine.

    Example 2: If your mower has a separate choke cable and you buy our CHOKE/THROTTLE COMBINED engine you will either using the current throttle cable on your mower or buying a new CHOKE/THROTTLE COMBINED cable. If you use the current throttle cable and connect it to the CHOKE/THROTTLE COMBINED engine, the engine will be choked if you push the throttle control all the way up to start the engine. After the engine started you need to pull the throttle control down a little bit to get to full throttle or at the any level for engine speed you want.
