Your engine's choke style may be (double check to confirm): SEPARATE MANUAL CHOKE (Mower needs 2 control cables, 1 for choke and 1 for throttle)

If your engine SPEC number is either: KT735-3055 , KT7353055 or PA-KT735-3055 or PA KT735 3055 or PAKT7353055 or PS-KT735-3055 or PS KT735 3055 or PSKT7353055, our engines on this page have the following similarities and you can buy any of them to fit your needs:
    1. Bolt pattern - The mounting hole pattern are the same.
    2. The dimmension.
    3. Muffler configuration is the same (you can reuse your old muffler)
    4. Although spent a lot of time to carefully study about your engine, prepare, review, and compose this page to believe that your engine crankshaft size is 1" diameter x about 3-5/32" length , it is still your responsibility to measure your engine crankshaft to double check if it is the same.
Minor things that you may have to do when you buy any of these engine to replace your engine including but not limited to: transfer your wire harness from your old engine to the new one (most of these have similar wire harness though), tap/thread the mounting holes (as most of brand new engines did not have the mounting holes threaded/tapped by the manufacturer), etc... If you believe more or less Horse Power (HP) CC or Gross Torque than your current engine will be fine with your mower, you can buy any of the engine listed on this page. Please choose HP, CC, and Gross Torque accordingly.

If after checking your engine/mower choke and the above is correct, your 1st friendly option is to buy a SEPARATE MANUAL CHOKE engine or 2nd friendly option SMART (Automatic) CHOKE engine.
Last unfriendly option: If the 1st or 2nd friendly option is not available here or you want a more/less HP engine, but with different choke control (than yours), you can buy a CHOKE/THROTTLE COMBINED engine here and you may be able to connect your mower's throttle cable to the engine's control to do both choke and throttle. After connecting your mower throttle control cable to the engine's CHOKE/THROTTLE COMBINED control, the engine will be choked if you push the mower throttle control lever all the way up before starting the engine. After the engine started you will pull the throttle control lever down a little bit to get to full throttle or at the any level for your desired engine speed.
