If your engine SPEC number is either: KT725-3037 , KT7253037 or PA-KT725-3037 or PA KT725 3037 or PAKT7253037 or PS-KT725-3037 or PS KT725 3037 or PSKT7253037, our engines on this page have the following similarities and you can buy any of them to fit your needs:
    1. Bolt pattern - The mounting hole pattern are the same.
    2. The dimmension.
    3. Muffler configuration is the same (you can reuse your old muffler)
    4. Although spent a lot of time to carefully study about your engine, prepare, review, and compose this page to believe that your engine crankshaft size is 1" diameter x about 3-5/32" length , it is still your responsibility to measure your engine crankshaft to double check if it is the same.
Minor things that you may have to do when you buy any of these engine to replace your engine including but not limited to: transfer your wire harness from your old engine to the new one (most of these have similar wire harness though), tap/thread the mounting holes (as most of brand new engines did not have the mounting holes threaded/tapped by the manufacturer), etc... If you believe more or less Horse Power (HP) CC or Gross Torque than your current engine will be fine with your mower, you can buy any of the engine listed on this page. Please choose HP, CC, and Gross Torque accordingly.

If after checking your engine/mower choke and the above is correct, your 1st friendly option is to buy a SMART (Automatic) CHOKE engine.
Last unfriendly option. If you want a more/less HP engine, but with different choke control (than yours) try the following option(s):
  1. If you buy a CHOKE/THROTTLE COMBINED engine, you may be able to connect your mower's throttle cable to the engine's control to do both choke and throttle. After connecting your mower throttle control cable to the engine's CHOKE/THROTTLE COMBINED control, the engine will be choked if you push the mower throttle control lever all the way up before starting the engine. After the engine started you will pull the throttle control lever down a little bit to get to full throttle or at the any level for your desired engine speed.

  2. If you buy a SEPARATE MANUAL CHOKE engine, you will need to buy and install a mower choke cable control on your mower to use it with this engine if your mower does not have one (choke cable control).
