POSSIBLE REPLACEMENT ENGINES FOR YOUR

726cc KAWASAKI TWIN CYLINDER ENGINE FR730V-BS13


If your engine CODE number is either: FR730V-BS13 or possible in one of these format: FR730V-BS13-R , FR730V-BS13R , FR730VBS13 , FR730VBS13R , FR730V BS13 , FR730V BS13R , FR730V BS13 R, our engines on this page have the following similarities and you can buy any of them to fit your needs:
    1. Bolt pattern - The mounting hole pattern is the same.
    2. The dimmension.
    3. Muffler configuration is the same (you can re-use your old muffler)

Minor things that you may have to do when you buy any of these engine to replace your engine including but not limited to: transfer your wire harness from your old engine to the new one if it is not the same (most of these have similar wire harness though), tap/thread the mounting holes (as most of brand new engines did not have the mounting holes threaded/tapped by the manufacturer) etc.. If your old engine's electric starter has a built-in solenoid, you may be able to transfer the old electric starter to the new engine or buy a separate solenoid to use with the new engine's electric starter.

About HP Discrepancy:
If you believe more or less Horse Power (HP) CC or Gross Torque than your current engine will be fine with your mower, you can buy any of the engine on this page. Choose HP, CC, and Gross Torque accordingly.

Notice that most of the major engine manufacturers changed the way they rate the HP of their engines. For example if a FR651V engine was previously rated at 22 HP (by Kawasaki), it is possibly rated at 21.5 HP (by Kawasaki Critical Power Ratings) today. That does not mean the FR651V 21.5 HP (new HP rating) engine does not have enough power to replace the old FR651V 22 HP (old rating) engine. So if you have a Kawasaki FR651V, you should buy a FR651V to have a similar power. If you want more power, go for the higher model number, e.g., FR691V or FR730V.
