If your engine CODE number is either: FJ180V-AS05 or possible in one of these format: FJ180V-AS05-R , FJ180V-AS05R , FJ180VAS05 , FJ180VAS05R , FJ180V AS05 , FJ180V AS05R , FJ180V AS05 R, our engines on this page have the following similarities and you can buy any of them to fit your needs:
    1. Bolt pattern - The mounting hole pattern is the same.
    2. Crankshaft size of: 7/8" diameter x about 3-5/32" length (PLEASE measure your engine's crankshaft to double check)
NOTICE: If your engine has both electric starter and recoil (pull) starter and you buy our recoil starter only (no electric starter) engine you either can use it as is or depending your engine's code number and year made you may be able to transfer your engine's flywheel, electric starter and other required parts to the new engine. If you do this, there won't be a 30 day warranty from us.

The handle/lever needs to be held down before starting the engine and keep it running. If the handle/lever is released the engine will stop running.
