VERY IMPORTANT (PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING): GREAT replacement for zero turn mowers (check dimensions and all other specification) Easily replaces Twin vertical shaft Kohler Command and Courage models (check the dimensions and compare shaft size, and all other specifications). Notice: if you replace this with a command, you may need to buy a starter solenoid to use with it. Costs about $16 at Lowe's, Home Depot or other places (most Kohler Command engine starter has built-in solenoid while most Kohler Courage engine does not have a built-in solenoid). WARNING Please read carefully as it is very EXPENSIVE to return if you buy a wrong engine. 1. MAKE SURE you have the VERTICAL crankshaft size of 1" diameter x 3-5/32" and other specifications for this to work. 2. If you have a rider mower, this engine may not fit under the hood of your mower because of the cyclonic air filter on the top. Please check the dimensions to make sure your mower has room for it. Dimensions Length x Width x Height: 18.8" L x 17.5" W x 17" H 3. AGAIN, THIS WILL NOT REPLACE A HORIZONTAL (side) CRANKSHAFT ENGINE.
