Your old engine must have the same crankshaft size as the new replacement engine. PLEASE contact us with your engine MODEL and TYPE numbers if you are not sure about your engine's crankshaft size. You can always measure the crankshaft size.
DESCRIPTION VERY IMPORTANT (PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING): This is a great replacement engine for many KOHLER engines that have Vertical crankshaft size. It is universal and Used by Cub Cadet, Sears (Craftsman), Husqvarna, MTD, and other lawn mowers which must have the TWIN CYLINDER KOHLER engine with the same crankshaft size as 1" dia x 3-5/32" length and other specification This engine has fuel pump. You won't see it in the picture because it is installed under the shroud (cover). You may find a similar little bit cheaper engine elsewhere, but it may not have a fuel pump. You will need a fuel pump on an engine if your mower requires one. If you buy a twin-cylinder engine without a fuel pump, you may not be able to install a fuel pump on an engine that was designed without a fuel pump.
